 Coding and Mathematics (Grade 9)

Looking for tips and inspiration for coding in grade 9 math class?

Join Steven Floyd and Lisa Anne Floyd as they provide participants with an overview of the coding expectations in grade 9 Mathematics. Foundational concepts introduced in grades 1 to 8, which students can apply in grade 9, will also be reviewed. Suggested programming environments and coding tools currently being used in Ontario classrooms will be shared, as well as selected TVO Mathify questions that incorporate coding and that are available to Ontario educators and students. The goal of this webinar is to build educators' understanding and confidence with connecting to the Coding Expectations in the Ontario Mathematics Curriculum.
